12th century Holy Roman Empire silver coin earrings
Prior to mounting these coins were inspected by an expert numismatist specializing in ancient coinage and comes with a certificate of authenticity guaranteeing both are genuine and as described. The coins are silver denars minted between the 1131-1141AD in the Holy Roman Empire under the Hungarian King Bela II. The coins feature the Christian cross on the obverse, the symbol of the crusades, along with an additional cross on the reverse. The earrings, minus the earring backs, were 100% handmade in America by an expert jewler and are comprised of sterling silver (the earring backs are surgical steel).
