Ancient Greek Persephone and Oak wreath coin in 14k yellow gold filled pendant
Prior to mounting, this coin was inspected by an expert numismatist specializing in ancient coins and comes with a certificate of authenticity guaranteeing its genuine and as described. The coin is an Ancient Greek bronze coin minted in the colony of Mysia, city of Cyzicus between 100-50BC. The coin features the portrait of the goddess of spring and hope, Persephone. On the reverse, an oak wreath is depicted. The coin was 100% handmade in America by an expert jeweler and is comprised of 14k yellow gold filled material. Gold filled material is similar in structure and durability to solid gold but a fraction of the price, while being vastly superior to gold plating as it will not wear off or change color
