Prior to mounting, this ancient coin was examined by an expert numismatist specializing in ancient coinage and comes with a certificate of authenticity guaranteeing it is genuine and as described. The coin is a silver billion Denier, struck under Bohemond III of the principality of Antioch, between 1163-1201AD. It features a Christian cross, the symbol of the crusades on one side. On the other, the bust of a holy crusader knight, donning a helmet and chain mail. The pendant was 100% hand made in America by an expert jewler and is comprised of sterling silver. The coin is held safely through tension, unmarked and can be removed at any point. The silver chain pictured is not included
