Prior to mounting, this coin was inspected by an expert numismatist specializing in ancient coinage and comes with a certificate of authenticity guaranteeing is genuine and as described. The coin is a 13th century bronze coin minted in the Kingdom of Cilician Armenia under king Levon I between 1226-1270AD. The coin features the Christian cross on one side and king Levon seated in a throne holding a cross on the other. The pendant was 100% hand made by an expert jewler in the USA and is comprised of 14k yellow gold filled material. Gold filled is similar to solid gold in structure and durability but as a fraction of the cost while being vastly superior to gold plating, as it won’t wear off or change color.
