Prior to mounting, this coin was inspected by an expert numismatist specializing in ancient coinage and comes with a certificate of authenticity guaranteeing it is genuine and as described here in. The coin is a bronze Ancient Greek coin minted in the Greek colony of Ionia, city of Miletos between 350-325BC and features the portrait of the sun god, Apollo. On the reverse, a lion is depicted looming backward with a star above. The pendant was 100% handmade in America by an expert jewler and is comprised of 14k yellow gold filled material. Gold filled material is similar in structure and durability to solid gold but at a fraction of the price, while being vastly superior to gold plated material, as it will not wear off or change color over time.
