13th century Christian crusades coin in sterling silver
Prior to mounting this coin was inspected by an expert numismatist specializing in ancient coinage and comes with a certificate of authenticity guaranteeing it is genuine and as described. The coin is a silver billon denier from the Principality of Achaea minted under the rule of Princess Isabelle De Villehardouin between 1297-1301AD. The coin features the Christian cross, the symbol of the crusades on the obverse along with a depiction of the Chatel Tournese (fortress) on the reverse. The pendant was 100% handmade in America by an expert jewler and is comprised of sterling silver. Silver chain pictured is not included
