The coin is a highly sought after type Ancient Greek Silver Stater from the Greek colony of Akarnania, struck between 350-300BC in the city of Anaktorian. The coin features the beautiful portrait of Athena, the goddess of wisdom and strategy, wearing an Attic helmet with hair flowing out. The reverse features a depiction of the mythological winged horse, Pegasus with wings out flying foward. The coin features moderate wearing, with an exceptional strike and beautiful color and luster Very Fine condition. The pendant holding the coin was 100% handmade in America by an expert jeweler and is comprised of solid 14k yellow gold material. Gold chain pictured is not included
