Prior to mounting, this coin was examined by an expert numismatist specializing in the field of ancient coins. It comes with a certificate of authenticity and is guaranteed to be genuine. The coin is a silver tram struck under King Levon I of the kingdom of Cilician Armenia between 1198-1219AD. The obverse depicts two lions with the Christian cross between them while the reverse depicts king Levin on a throne, holding a globe and cross. Inscribed on the coin are the words translated to “by the will of God”. The pendant was 100% handmade in America by an expert Jeweler and is comprised of 14 karat yellow gold filled material. Yellow gold filled material is far superior to gold plated material. It will not wear off or change color. It also has similar durability to solid gold, but at a fraction of the price. the chain pictured is not included.
