Prior to mounting this coin was examined by a professional numismatist specializing in ancient coinage and was determined to be genuine and comes with a certificate of authenticity guaranteeing it is genuine and as described. This pendant contains a silver Drachm issued under Alexander the Great and depicts him as Hercules, wearing a lion skin head dress. The reverse depicts Zeus, the king of the Greek gods seated on a throne. The pendant was also 100% hand made in the USA by an expert jeweler. The coin is safely held by tension and can be removed at any point without damaging the coin. The pendant is comprised of sterling silver material, the silver chain pictured is not included
