Prior to mounting, this coin was inspected by an expert numismatic specializing in ancient coinage and comes with a certificate of authenticity guaranteeing its genuine and as described. The coin is an ancient Egyptian bronze coin minted during the late kingdom, ruled by the Ptolemaic dynasty under Ptolemy XII 116-53BC. The coin features the portrait of Zeus Ammon, who was a combination of the Greek king of gods, Zeus and the head Egyptian ram god, Ammon. In the reverse, an eagle with wings spread is shown. The pendant was 100% hand made in American by an expert jeweler and is comprised of 14k yellow gold filled material. Gold filled material is similar in look and durability as solid gold but at a fraction of the price while being vastly superior to gold plating as it will not flake off or change color over time.
