Prior to mounting, this coin was inspected by an expert numismatist specializing in ancient coinage and comes with a certificate of authenticity guaranteeing it is genuine and as described. The coin is an Ancient Greek bronze coin from the colony of Aeolis, city of Kyme and minted between 250-200BC. The people of Kyme revered both horses and the mythological Amazonian warriors they believed they were descended from. This coin reflects that culture by depicting both a horse and an Amazonian warriors portrait. The pendant was 100% handmade in America by an expert jewler and is comprised of 14k yellow gold filled material. Gold filled is similar to solid gold in durability and look, but at a fraction of a price while being superior to gold plating as the gold does not come off or change color over time.
