It has the “Attica standard” of weight at 16.89g and measures 23mm (without mounting). The coin features the beautiful portrait of Athena, the goddess of wisdom and strategy and the patron goddess of Athens. On the reverse, an owl is depicted. An animal closely associated with Athena and the city of Athens, symbolizing wisdom. The mounting was 100% hand made in America by an expert jeweler and is comprised of 100% genuine, solid 14 karat yellow gold. The coin is held by tension, undamaged, and can be removed by an expert at any point. The gold chain pictured is not included
